League News
In the Premier Division, Allenburys I are just one point ahead of Grundy Park I, having played one match more after three wins for Tom Reeve helped them to a 7-3 win against their second team.  They followed this up with a 9-1 victory at Grundy Park II.  Grundy Park I beat third place HRC I 9-1.  Jason Flaum and Richard Fellows won three each as Grundy Park II bounced back with a 9-1 win at Cheshunt II to move up to fourth.  Cheshunt I are three points behind with three matches in hand after a surprise 6-4 win at HRC I.  In the battle of the bottom two, Pramastars recorded their best result of the season but remain 19 points adrift after losing 6-4 at Cheshunt II.
In Division 1, HRC I are starting to pull away as the teams below take points off each other.  Nick Johns won six singles and two doubles as they won 10-1 and 9-1 against St. Andrews and Stanstead Abbotts respectively.  Pramastars II are second, beating Stanstead Abbotts 8-2 and Allenburys III 6-4 to stay one point ahead of the latter.  Allenburys III then lost by the same score to Grundy Park III who are a further four points behind after beating Furneux Pelham 7-3, Harbinder Singh making it 31 wins in 33 matches.  Watton-at-Stone won 8-2 at St Andrews, Steve Block winning all three.  Furneux Pelham recorded their first six points of the season, winning 6-4 at Watton-at-Stone, Ian McAllister unbeaten on the night, including an 11-9 last set win over Colin Holmes.

Cup News
In the first of the two remaining first round matches, Grundy Park I eased past HRC I 5-2.  In the other match, HRC II put up a tremendous fight at Allenburys I, eventually going down 5-4.
In the quarter finals, both Allenburys teams beat their respective Cheshunt teams by 7-2 and Grundy Park II easily beat their third team.  St Andrews were the last Division 1 team to fall after a brave fight against Grundy Park I.  Brian Jennings & Steve Burton won the doubles to get them off to a good start and Brian then beat Daniel Gillett in straight sets as Grundy Park went through 7-2.
