The normal mix of league and cup results, league tables and outstanding matches up to the end of 2009 are all posted here on the website.

 

Once again if anybody wants Pramastars old table, please let me know. We don’t want any money, you just have to arrange collection and make a small donation to Cancer Research. If it is not found a home by the end of the season, we will regrettably have to destroy it.

 

I have also been asked to pass on the message below regarding an upcoming coaching course. Please pass on to anybody else who may be interested, plus an attached newsletter giving details of an upcoming tournament.

 

Dear All

I am sending out a reminder email to you all that the closing date for the UKCC Level 1 course being held in Ipswich is fast approaching and so far there are 6 candidates booked on. Please can you pass this email onto anyone who maybe interested in applying for this course and tell them to either get in touch with myself or the ETTA coaching department as soon as possible. We need at least a minimum of 9 candidates for the course to run.

John Andrews has found a possible funding opportunity for this course via the following link east-links. May I stress that if you wish to apply for this grant  you must do so as an individual and it is not guaranteed that you will receive anything, however it is worth a try.

On a separate note, I have been informed that the 20^th World veteran Table-Tennis competition is being held in Mongolia from 7-12^th June. If anyone is interested let me know and I will let you have more details. Apparently if I read the email right all participants get a free one-way ticket, you have to make your own way home!!

 

In the Premier Division, the race for the title looks like it will go right to the end, current champions Hoddesdon I are 17 points behind leaders Cheshunt I with two matches in hand. Grundy Parks title challenge has faded but they are clear in third place. In Division1, Hoddesdon III are way ahead, already 17 points clear of Pramastars I with a game in hand, having dropped just  four sets in eight matches.  

 

I have attached details of all Divisonal cup results played so far plus the matches due to be played w/c 8^th February.

HODDESDON III  & HRC I advanced to the semi-finals with victories over HRC II and CHESHUNT IV respectively. The matches involving CHESHUNT III v HODDESDON II and HODDESDON I v HODDESDON IV are not yet in.
